STUDENT WINTER BREAK PROGRAM!!!

NEW 5 WEEK WINTER BREAK PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL RUNNERS! Students must be 18 or older or have an adult purchase. Adults purchase for students only please!

OVERVIEW

Use our Battle The Bulge training program to help you maintain that level of fitness you worked so hard for during the year. Or if you are just getting started, use this program to jump start your 2020 training!

 

This training plan is 9 weeks long. It includes daily cardio/running workouts as well as daily 5-15 minute body weight strength training workouts (no equipment needed). For the strength training workouts you get to follow along step-by-step to each workout via full-length videos you can watch from your phone.

PROGRAM LEVELS

BEGINNER - 6 days per week of 5-15 minute body weight strength training workouts, 6 days of cardio/running workouts averaging 30-45 minutes each day, 1 rest day per week

INTERMEDIATE - 6 days per week of 8-15 minute body weight strength training workouts (slightly more difficult than beginner level workouts), 6 days of cardio/running workouts averaging 40-60 minutes each day, 1 rest day per week

ADVANCED - 6 days per week of 8-15 minute body weight strength training workouts (same as intermediate level), 6 days of cardio/running workouts averaging 60-90 minutes each day, 1 rest day per week

HOW TO START

You can purchase your Battle The Bulge program below. After you have purchased your program you will receive an invite from us to sign up with the training app, Final Surge. Once you have created your Final Surge account we will upload your training program to your training calendar in Final Surge. Then the work begins and the results happen!

OVERVIEW

Battle that Bulge this holiday season! Join other Rugged Runners in getting those last few pounds off to achieve that long forgotten New Year's Resolution! You have 63 days from the start of the program to complete your Battle The Bulge challenge.

PRIZES

The 1st Place prize is 3 months of free individualized coaching (value $480)! The prizes for 2nd and 3rd place will be announced in the coming weeks, as they are dependent on how many people enter the challenge, but we can assume you they will be awesome!

HOW TO ENTER

First, purchase your Battle The Bulge program below. Then tell us why you are doing the challenge and provide a  picture of yourself at the start of the challenge by completing this entry form 

 

During the challenge use hashtags #ruggedchallenge and #ruggedrunning across social media platforms so we can follow your journey over the 9 weeks of Battling The Bulge. Then at the end of your 9 week program, provide us an after picture of yourself and tell us about your journey over the last 9 weeks, any challenges you had during that time and how your overcame them to Battle The Bulge! NOT BULGY? .. no problem, working towards a PR or something else? Let us know that too!
