This is for the overnight accommodations as part of the Self Defense Boot Camp February 19th 2022.
When: February 18th-20th (Friday-Sunday)
Where: Rugged Running Head Quarters ( 29266 S.Sunset Trail Conifer CO 80433)
What: Boot Camp/Self Defense Clinic
Who: ALL LEVELS WELCOME ( coed is fine, all must agree since you are sharing the bunk room pictured above)
Details: Arriving on Friday by 6:00 pm (please grab dinner on the way), we will let you settle in, start with a meet and greet, get some gait videos, short mobility session, and light snacks/drinks. You will stay on the lower level of our home (must like kids and dogs!) which has a mini bar, but is the fitness studio complete with full bathroom. Saturday morning we will have breakfast, Mike will teach self defense, and we will get outdoors on a nearby trail and do a strength and recovery methods session. Sunday morning we will have breakfast and hit a local trail again. We will most likely hike a lot, it will be only about an hour or so.
Tentative Schedule:
Friday: Arrival by 6pm, meet n greet, gait videos, short mobility and snacks. Quiet time 8:00pm.
Saturday: Breakfast 6am. 6:30 am nutrition talk. 7:00am 5 minute warm up, speed/gait drills for a more efficient stride. 7:45 am light snacks. 8am-11am self defense. 11: 15 am, lunch. 12 noon travel to local trail for 1 hour rike (run/hike). 1:30pm. Break for 30 minutes. 2:00 pm strength session and recovery methods session. Break 4:30 pm. 5:30 pm dinner Q and A's with Michele. Quiet time 8:00pm.
Sunday: Breakfast 6am. Leave for trail 6:30am. Local trail 1-2 hrs. Last minute Q and A's and depart by 11am.
TRANSPORTATION: to and from the head quarters is NOT included. However, transportation to/from local trail heads is.
Lodging/meals/snacks/transportation to/from trail head/bathroom amenities are all included as well as a goodie bag and camp packet.
